My online activities started with the fandom surrounding StarFox 64, a game by Nintendo. I found other fans back in '98 and it all just sort of clicked. This is also when I got into art seriously for the first time, when I looked in awe at one fan artist named MaryBeth and basically decided that art was for me. It didn't take long for my focus to shift off of fan art though, and I steadily improved from there. Eventually I went on to just draw general furries/anthros, and as time progressed, human characters for my project/storyworld called Ramusia.
Right now I'm looking at working towards a career in computer programming and graphics/art (more emphasis on the graphics and art part now - changed my major to CG), and am attending college to achieve that. I maintain and design web sites in my spare time, including FMC Arts (the homebase for my artistic activities, it's also my deviantART website link so click on the button and check it out sometime), soon to come out with a redesign and new name.
I'll take commissions if I'm feeling up to it, or if I need money for some prize I might be eyeing. FMC Arts shows my current commission status, so check it before inquiring. Although you never know, sometimes I can be bribed a little to take commissions even when my status shows that I'm not. It's all a matter of my mood.

It's kinda weird... I've always drawn anthros, so it was easy enough for me to get hooked into the the furry world.
You're webwork is pretty good, be careful on how much javascript you use though... alot of people turn it off now because of all the malicious java scripts sending viruses. Also just to let you know (sorry if you knew already) but your [link] page goes off the page even at 1024x768... you can usually fix that by using percentages to do sizing but I wouldn't suggest jumping into that either, since it's tricky to get it right in every browser.... but your webpage made we think of a way to fix some problems with cross browser compatibility I've been having, so I have to thank you for that. ^^
Sorry, I tend to ramble... I also apologize for being loud and generally chattery at the college. I'm actually normally very wihtdrawn.... it just kinda depends on what people I'm around though... I act diffrent around diffrent people and I tend to pick up traits of the person I'm talking to at the time. It this weird thing I have since I'm a synambalist, I'm in a constant state of semi-hypnosis.
I was wondering if you're going to be going FurtherConfusion this year.
I've actually learned quite a few new tricks when it comes to webdesign, that site is old. The sides didn't seem to bleed off the edges, just the tops, and I didn't really care at the time if you had to scroll a bit vertically. I'll be working on a redesign of my art site, so maybe I'll be able to make something better. ;P
We're too poor for a con this year though, so no, no FurtherConfusion. ^_^; We've thought about it since we have friends up that way whose house we could probably crash at, but we wouldn't even be able to afford the attending memberships right now.
And I don't really mind ramble, I'm just someone who's hard pressed for words, and so I might act uncomfortable even when in reality I don't really care or mind. The internet makes that easier I guess.
Ahh okay... yeah I'm constantly rebuilding and redesigning webpages, so I'm always learning new things, of coarse because of that I'm also always finding new thing that I have to learn too. I'll be keeping my eyes open for the redesign of your art site.
Yeah, I know the feeling, the only reason I get to go is because a good friend of mine is paying for everything. This will be my first convention aside from the local anime convention here in AV that I work at each year.
Yay, rambaling ^^ yes, it's definately easier to talk online especially if you're not that familiar with someone. I'm glad I didn't make you uncomfortable, I'm always worried about what people generally think of me, a bad habit, but one I have none-the-less.
